WELCOME FROM OUR PRESIDENT
Greetings!
On behalf of Epsilon Kappa chapter of Alpha Delta Pi here at Troy University, I would like to extend our warmest regards and welcome you to our website! My name is Amanda Calhoun and I have the privilege of serving as President for the year 2008.
Alpha Delta Pi sorority remains First. Finest. Forever. Since 1851. My sisters and I here at Troy are honored to be part of this tradition, and are looking forward to another memorable year in southern Alabama.
This spring semester promises to be an eventful one! Our annual Formal is in the planning stages, as well as our Philanthropy event, which will be a Golf Tournament held on the Trojan Oaks golf course! We are also excited to partner with the Alabama Shakespeare Festival in Montgomery, Alabama for an opportunity to raise additional funds for the Ronald McDonald House. All the proceeds raised by Epsilon Kappa chapter is sent to the Ronald McDonald House in Mobile, Alabama. Our chapter travels to Mobile every fall semester to witness our donations at work, which is always an amazing and rewarding experience.
A sorority is only as strong as its foundation, and Alpha Delta Pi is built on a foundation of enduring and lifelong friendships. As I entered the doors of the ADPi house for the first time, I immediately recognized the depth of commitment the young women shared. After two and a half years of membership, I came to realize how much my time in this sorority has enriched my college experience. I am grateful for the friendships and unending support given to me by these remarkable women, who I call my sisters.
I am honored to serve Epsilon Kappa as president, and anxious to witness all the things this year has to offer. I believe in Alpha Delta Pi, more specifically, I believe in Epsilon Kappa, what it stands for, and all the women who call it home.
Loyally,
Amanda Calhoun
Epsilon Kappa President
